The CleanSafe^® product range is not just another cleaning product. It’s development took many years and included input from many key players in the optical, electronics, and audio markets.

The products were developed originally from a Government research project. Derivatives are used in many industries including the food and health sectors. The specialization done by us concentrated on applicability of the product to coated surfaces (although it works perfectly on non-coated surfaces as well).

Coated surfaces are found in the screen, CD/DVD, and optical sectors. Coatings are glued or sprayed on outer surfaces and are very sensitive to damage. Due to competitive cost pressures, more and more manufacturers are relying on softer, more easily damaged, coatings.

Key requirements for coated surface handling, especially in the electronics industry, include:

• Non or low conductivity (corrosive and shock prevention)
• Soft (low KH)
• Neutral pH (not acid or alkaline)
• Anti-bacterial
• Anti-static
• No chemicals or any form of alcohol
• Pure – clean liquid not contaminated
• Nano-thin (invisible) protection layer

CleanSafe^® has been developed to meet all of these requirements. All competitive products analyzed failed on most of these key requirements.

It prolongs the optimal usage life of screens, lenses and coatings on glasses.

CleanSafe^® products are made by using, amongst others, nano-technology. For protection this means that CleanSafe^® applies an unheard of tiny layer (which still can be felt, not seen!) on the cleaned surfaces. In technical terms: the protection layer is approximately 8 nanometer, which is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a hair thickness.

For practical purposes this means that surfaces which have been treated with CleanSafe^® are protected against dirt and if they become dirty they can be much easier cleaned than if these surfaces did not have the protection layer. Practice has revealed that dirty screens which were not protected by CleanSafe^® could not (anymore) be cleaned, whereas protected screens were easy to clean! For this reason major screen manufacturers treat their screens in the factories with CleanSafe^® before they are shipped.

CleanSafe^® does not contain any harmful or toxic elements and is not packaged in an aerosol container. This is important for cleaning and protection of TFT / TV / LCD screens, CD/DVD’s, mobile and electronic products in general because toxic products (including alcohol and derivatives found in many cleaners - look at the labels!) are detrimental for sensitive surfaces such as coatings on screens, CD/DVD’s, etc. These toxic products will slowy but surely dissolve and damage these coatings.

Pressurized / aerosol products contain gasses which have shown to negatively effect coatings. In addition the pressure which is applied on the surfaces by spraying on it will further damage coatings. From all perspectives the use of pressurized products should be avoided and is not necessary as regular sprays and drip systems can perform this function the same or better.

CleanSafe^® liquids products are hypoallergenic – alcohol and solvent free, completely non-toxic, non-polluting, and totally safe – even for children to use.

Environmentally Friendly

CleanSafe^® products are not only non-toxic, but also do not contain any harmful ingredients that will be applied to treated surfaces. Children who touch treated surfaces do not risk transfer of cleaning chemicals to their mouths.

All ingredients of CleanSafe^® are completely environmentally friendly. Waste can be disposed of with other household waste, without any effect to people or to the environment.

All packing material of CleanSafe^® is recyclable and/or decomposes.

CleanSafe^® is extremely efficient to use. Only a minimal amount of liquid is needed to clean and protect surfaces. This helps to reduce waste significantly.

CleanSafe^® products are not required to carry any warnings or warning symbols to identify that some kind of danger is present when using a product.
